Waterways is an Indigenous-led non-profit organization based in Manitoba that empowers Indigenous youth through canoe-based outdoor recreation programs. Our mission is to connect Indigenous youth with their culture, land, and community while nurturing their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through our collaborative canoe programs, we provide Indigenous youth with the tools they need to lead healthy lives and conquer any challenges they may face.

Our programming serves Indigenous youth in partnering communities across Manitoba. We offer a variety of camps that provide opportunities for youth to develop their paddling skills, learn about their culture and traditions, and connect with their lands and waterways. Our programs not only support better physical well-being but also cultivate a higher sense of self-esteem, confidence, and pride. We partner with our communities to help them build long term self sustaining programs that will exist long into the future.
